Got photo of it David in Show Birds.

Just put Show Pigeons and you can get an image, think I may have got the name mixed up but it is certainly amongs the show birds.

Regards.

Interesting all the show birds David.

Had another look in and it appears to be a German Beauty Homer.

Have a look and see if you think the same, got original name mixed up because of a silly advert that keeps cropping up and covered the part that actually had the name.

Regards.

Same David, think they are the result as the same as many of the other show pigeons bred to a standard irrespective of the result to the life they have.

Had a right go years ago in the Cage and Aviary regarding budgies and the changes they made to the standard for showing.

They are now unreconisable from the true ones.

Man has a lot to answer for in the abuse of animals etc;

Regards.

its like dogs misty, totally different from the original breeding, some have faults bred into them that makes it difficult to breath or hip / joint problems ......show standards are destroying what a certain breed of dog was created for .
