thank-you for the welcome still don't race the birds grandson likes them and has been taking eye photos for me since he was 10 have cut down to 20 birds few more have to go as i'm not keen on keeping unraced birds have ben giving ybs away each year but that will now finish just can't afford it now not working also find more fanciers not racing young birds need to be reminded how to post photos

yes george, seems like every time i go to the corn shop the price has gone up , im off tomorrow for a few things i dread to think what it will cost ........although since ive separated the cocks and hens the food bill has gone down drastically .

i bred 120 young birds this year so you can imagine how much food they were going through a week .......

As for costs, as well as putting costs up, they are reducing the quantities

yes george, i`ll try post up how to do it today, im just cleaning the corridor our in the loft to put some plastic boxes in to keep the corn in.......ive took liberties for too long having 10 bags at a time in the conservatory , i think i best keep it in the loft before i get in trouble .......

theres a couple of ways to do it so ill do a post on it later today
