Nehu show

Anyone going on here to the show ? . Looking forward to it myself as lots there this year , plus only 2 minutes from me so can't wait

yes I'm going and can't wait, been 4 years since last visit. Lot more stall holders this time, just enjoy wandering round and round looking at stuff, getting ideas for next season. It's a good venue and if only 2 minutes from yours we can all go there for a fry-up breakfast

It's actually going to be a big event this year , a few auctions and plenty of stalls

it's improved over recent years, great venue and organisers have done well and you can spend longer there with more to see. Auctions add a bit of extra interest, see if prices are down this year - don't think so. Get what I need on Saturday then don't have to carry it around all day the week after at Doncaster. Be loads carrying pigeons in boxes, get it home then say why the hell did I buy this for

Yes done that a lot bought birds we shouldn't have. Are you going to Doncaster,? ..we are going down on the train

yes Doncaster booked, go friday afternoon on train so don't nick my reserved seats,, come back sunday morning make a weekend of it, always enjoy a few nights out in Doncaster, great place.

Was a good NEHU show, good few stalls and plenty pigeons up for sale at prices from £20 up to whatever you wanted to pay, some sold out while others didn't look like they sold a bird. Buyers market today. Most I spent was on pie and chips

Was pretty cheap to be honest Don, I think it was about £3.50 including a can of pop. Be 3 times this at Doncaster for certain!!

Great day indeed . We didn't buy one bird thank god . Lots of other stuff though. Pie, peas chip and gravy was gorgeous haha . Regarding sellers , tumbley lofts didn't look like they sold many but they are very expensive to be honest. Not working mans prices . But their set up was fantastic. They had a lovely white cock but 250 quid was too much plus it was a distance bird . Great day . Role on donny

what breed was the tumley bird ray, ive still got out tumley lofts rpra one loft bird......she breeds some big strong youngsters every year paired to a van reet cock, have tried to buy dia evans cock to go with her a few years ago but they went for more than i wanted to pay ....

Not sure David as looked at price on that one cock and that was enough for me . Only looked as it stood out with being white . Too expensive
