just realised ive made a mistake with her medication, been giving 2 twice a day anti biotics (penicillin ) .........turns out i should have given one twice a day

so gave her double the dose for 3 days, vets said she should be ok ......any thoughts anyone ...?

it's a age thing with you just as long she is ok may it continue

Vet would have given remedial medication if there was a major problem'

good news david,regarding the double dose i doubt it would make much difference over 3 days ,sometimes it is indicated to start a dose on "shotgun" which means double up for first dose (to get into the system quicker) she be ok david

question for dog owners i would like a dog the problem is picking up the poo is it really difficult

just get a waiste high dustpan george to collect in and bag it and bin it ...i guess you struggle to get down to floor level eh george ?

yes never thought of that   do have a dustbin for birds poo

one thing I don't miss since not replacing the last 2 dogs but duty of all responsible owners, pity not all are responsible though

got a cat not mine uses my garden as a toilet

Anyone not picking up after their dog is not fit to have an animal.

Not only that you can often tell the health of your dog from doing so.

thanks everyone for the replies about my dog, she certainly has recovered well so far since the operation thursday, we knew the tumor was dragging her down physically and mentally but its surprising what a difference the operation has made . she does like to go upstairs during the day to be with my wife, and to sleep upstairs at night......will be a while before she can do that though, but at least she is here and recovering .
