The show is still being advertised by RPRA as including show pigeons, sale pigeons and multiple auctions but Blackpool is in a restricted zone regarding bird flu which means no bird gatherings. I'm not convinced pigeons will be allowed at Blackpool under current DEFRA legislation, maybe I'm wrong? There's still a couple of weeks for the situation to change, hopefully restrictions are lifted and the show isn't affected but fanciers should be kept informed by the show organisers so we can decide whether to commit to the travel and accommodation expense plus everything else over the weekend. Not much of a pigeon show with no pigeons at the end of the day.

indeed there should be some clarity from the rpra colin ,its not fair on fanciers ...but as we know from other aspects of the rpra they like to keep there cards close to there chest, all about money again ,look at the nehu a far better organised union who does not chop and change manager every 5 minutes ...i would wager the last manager had a gut full ,its like an episode of "on the buses" at the rpra and i never did trust "blakey Wink "

You can only blame the apathy of the population David for allowing the advantage takers and opportunists to thrive.

When they are found wanting in legal terms nothing is done, the PPA scandal typical example.

No one can EARN the sums involved in many cases.

The MPs are a set of stooges.

They do as they are told.

Bit like our sport.

Regards.

exactly misty, they are exposed by the day, yet nothing happens to them, they carry on regardless, not being held to account.......why do people not say enough is enough ?
