The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

anyone know what the procedure would be to bring birds back to the uk from here, with all the rules and regulations regarding avian flu ...?

Pigeons would need to go into quarantine David, unless travelling to Ireland which is still in EU.
by the time you got them into a UK loft they'd be too strong on the wing I reckon.

To be honest David it's what anyone who voted to leave the EU has agreed to without realising the implications. Before we joined the EU this was how it was I believe.
