2nd Club, 190 odd away, over the moon, only got 10 racers, 8/10 back first race for the majority of them, been a nice day but still gaps between many birds.

True that Colin I'm hard thou all the same,  when one has only a few etc. Some these days your two there, would be but a drop in a bucket type thing if lost with what they send now come race day.

Would be very interesting to know what a pigeon thinks about our methods.

One thing is certain, a fancier can only do what he/she thinks is in the best interests of his/her pigeons, but has no control whatsoever over many aspects that determine results.

this may sound silly but i think in most cases birds just fly over and then make there way back do they learn from it i doubt it

Not silly George possibly correct.

At one time batches of maybe over a couple of hundred or more crossed over my loft, seen one drop out for me and win the race, but I bet there were other of my pigeons in the batch but did not drop out till a lot further down the line and have to fly back.

Think if they get into the middle of a big batch tis hard to get out going at the speed they do.

Not sent yet will send to Weymouth this Saturday 134 miles for their first one see how they come
