Been movement at the station down here Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes in a rather big way etc in a pigeon type sense over the weekend. Auction of sorts lol! lol! lol! been going on Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes for my body, as Knackered as it is by different local clubs for my membership by 3 different Icon type pigeon folk down here from 3 different type clubs of high esteem. All 3 Icons in different ways Smile Smile all house hold local names of high repute (2 actually, country wide, east to west, north to south etc) one even over the weekend end here sold me a fancy fancy Smile Smile electronic type clock etc bounce bounce & said in a quite honest fashion, it's like shelling peas to learn as such, being simple, simple Rolling Eyes WRONG it appears I'm affraid apparently, as a simple minded sole like myself Smile Smile a general know nothing type, somehow has apparently found a glitch in their program system when trying to enter ones birds here to race somehow with their clock. Even discussed my issue here with one of the other Icon flyers here that rang trying to do business (a clock expert) & he said Very Happy Very Happy amazing Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes been doing electronic clocks for well over ten years now & never have come across or even heard anything about your dilemma type moment when setting up ones electronic
clock with data. Now Very Happy Very Happy for any clock setter experts watching here Wink Wink perhapes ponder what my problem/issue may just be bounce bounce & you may just perhaps maybe learn something of what one can maybe do or not do with a simple electronic type clock, but be warned Very Happy Very Happy best to think outside the general normal box type scenario when thinking, as my little major issue in normal times would never effect I'm sure, 99.9% of those entering data into ones pigeon clock before racing I somehow
suspect fortunately Smile Smile Now  lol!  lol!  lol! another Now here Rolling Eyes  Rolling Eyes
lol!  lol!  lol! as one could perhaps say, in a kind way. Mr B*****g  Smile  Smile
could one ask, maybe. Why is it so  Wink  Wink as I suspect somehow  Very Happy  Very Happy it shouldn't be so type of thing  Wink  Wink maybe. cheers

Yes David, heard a long time ago some clubs put in for grants to purchase ETS for all members and think all clubs should have done.

Liked clocking them myself part of the fun.

Regards.

yes misty if i remember right our club did put in for a grant, not sure what happened but we actually got over £5,000 given by the cricket club where our head quarters are to buy 17/18 ets , i think they remain the property of the cricket club though .

ive never used one but it looks easy enough to set up on you tube videos .

Discussed all that type thing etc Misty Smile Smile when buying my new fancy clock as such here, recently. Mentioned how important to me Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes it was bounce bounce always being there to congratulate the winner with a handshake moment on race day. Old school thinking, now apparently Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad & the following week now is OK by todays general standards Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes if you remember type thing. cheers

Said at the time of the discussion regarding the ETS any fancier not there to see the pigeons home ( could be injured and need attention) should not be involved in the sport.

Still hold that view.

Not quite Very Happy Very Happy on the ball with your thinking logic here Misty, I'm affraid In fact lol! lol! lol! I'm totally confused Smile Smile somewhat Wink Wink again  Very Happy  Very Happy My reading Smile Smile is your saying everyone should be using something Benzing live come race day now & nobody should turn up to shake the winner's hand on the day of the race as such at pull over time. End of the day  Smile  Smile matters little type thing I suggest Wink  Wink compared with all our other problems/issues mentioned in passing here at times. cheers

Said in the 70s Knackered, our pigeons were being turned into ROBOTS.

All the fun of trapping and seeing the last bird back, HISTORY.

I always congratulated the winner, also got great pleasure my hand getting shook quite often myself.

I spent all the time between the possible arrival time and taking the clock in waiting for any late commers, and if they were not all back after the clocks had been dealt with would wait until darkness fell.

I never treated my pigeons other than as I would have liked to be treated myself were Ia pigeon and make no apology for so thinking.

Regards.
