The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

we entered this a few years ago george, when it was called the MNFC one loft, darren bred us a good bird to fly in the final, the final was over the channel which was pretty good for young birds .......i have that bird in my loft, i bought it back .

yeah remember the mealy that was 7th in the first hotspot then suddenly dissapeared before the 2nd hotspot until being marked for the final and then dissapeared again

Often wondered George how many that show good promise early on end up in stock lofts.
Just too many possible irregularities involved although I think most are straight.
Most OLs lose most pigeons because most have the same health problems pigeons from good bad and indifferent lofts, you can help some whilst harming others.
As said previously the idea is good the ability to run it fair for all is impossible.

never a good idea to send pedigrees with entries, creates the possibilities of skulduggery , maybe a better idea to send pedigrees after the final race for the birds who made it to the end and are up for auction .
