| steve these are the parents of the janssen yb this is the hen  this is the cock, would have to be just closing his eyes when i took picture...   this is a better pic of him   this is the hen to the lefebre dhaenen yb (ring ends 70)  cant seem to find one of the father so this is one of the ybs grandfather........looks just the same

| Thanks David, I'm just starting some records for them so these pictures will definately be included. I can't find the info I know you sent me regarding their age - you couldn't resend it to me could you please? I remember you saying the elder one was hatched just after Jun 18 but can't remember which one and when the other hatched. Not critical info I know but nice to know. BTW my 8 yr old daughter and my wife are both equally struck with them and are very inquisitive which I see as a good thing!!

| It was the last post on my original request for help on the PigeonBasics forum
"the oldest bird was hatched around the 16th june and the younger bird sometime after that, maybe about 6 weeks old now. ill let you know courier details"
Is the Janssen the older or younger bird, I've tried to avoid handling them to let them settle in and because they're both so similarly coloured - I know one is still a squeeker so can then work out which is which from that? |

| hi steve, the janssen is the younger of the two........i think the lefebre dhaenens ring ends in 70  the lefebre yb was very tame in my loft and would sit on me when i went in so within a few days once they get to know you it should do the same with you........ if you can its a good idea to sit in with them and spend time with them, maybe talk to them and once they get used to you then play with them and tease them a bit with your hands/fingers. |
