Yeah, obviously don.... I meant those little specs of white, that ians bird has, mine has, and filmstar has in basically the same place. Was saying its that that makes pieds my faviourite... |

| like pied myself, but the van den bosch pigeons are nice pieds mate wether they are blue pied or cheq pieds |

| Not sure mate, for me if a prey bird is hungury they will go for any pigeon or flock mate |

| yes ian, have headr/read about it before....they say that a pied/whiteflight or some colour out of the ordinary atracts their eye and they go for that one..........like i say i dont know how true it is though. |

| funny , i was just watching some magpies today.....round my loft are trees and because the leaves are falling i noticed a big nest in one of the trees and magpies round it, do hawks etc attack magpies ....? |

| Atleast you have heard of it too David, apparently its been proven, the bop see the pieds, think there something different, they catch their eye and strike. Was told that when I picked up the first pied bird i had been given in the blokes loft. |

| That is funny alex because when i was younger always used a white fantail as a flapper when trying to attract pigeons
When flapping her a kestral started to dive towards the fantail which was in my hand if i had not moved my hand and fantail then the kestral would have taken the fantail out of my hand
But i will say this it only ever happened the once
So you may have something there Alex with the colour white |
