| A good barley at at least 50% is good during the moult |

| just got some nice moulting mix today for mine.......seems alot of different seeds in it and it was reasonable at £11.90. cant remember name but ill post it on tommorrow and see if anyone has used it before. |

| For moulting it is all about small seeds as the pigeons do not need the large corns like maize as they are not racing now
Having small seeds also helps keep the fat of the pigeons during the winter period |

| theres feathers all over the place in my loft, most of the old ones are heavy in the moult and the ybs are dropping to bits....apart from a couple of older ones that have more or less finished now. (and a couple of latebreds) |

| yes ken, funny you should say that.....a member was asking any tips for feathers the other week and i sugested the vacume...lol ive seen it done on a large scale in big lofts..... |
