Somerset Oneloft Race 2011

Are we as a site interested in trying again next year?

Same format as last year, the more that enter the syndicate the cheaper it will be, i know we had a dismal run last year but it was fun..........at times and created a lot of interest

I know the final race is later in the year for 2011

Will someone else breed the youngsters?

hi mark, i know it was a bit of a dissapiontment last time, but for what we paid its just a chance we took, it wasnt a fortune was it and who knows, maybe this time we might do better..............

depending on the cost and how many we can get to join i would be interested again, and maybe we could choose between a few of the syndicate to enter different members birds......

yehhhhhhhh im interested again i thought it was good and nice to see the members takin part made it the more interesting lol

for the new members who have joined the site since last year, what we did was there were 13 syndicate members each paid £25 and we entered 4 birds into the Somerset Oneloft Race, just for a bit of fun (didnt have much success, but hey ho you never know).

If we get 13 members again, same applies if we get 20 members we would all pay £15 etc

as a new starters in the pigeon world can someone en-lighten me on what this thread is about , you pay the money, who enters the birds the person you pay to or the person who pays?

chris, alex, the site members entered the somerset one loft race last year, we had 13 members involved who all payed £25 each.......mark/lightening mcqueen bred and supplied the 4 ybs which were entered and also delivered them to the somerset loft, i think there were approx 5 hotspot races and one final race....... i think the prize monies were about 40,000 and other prizes too, if you take look at where it says somerset one loft race on the home page it provides a link which will explain better,

cheers for that david, if i had to supply my own birds , with me just starting it would be very difficult, will keep an eye on the thread though, seems interesting
