Anyone got their rings yet......?

anyone got their rings yet...? its our club meeting this sunday so wondering if they will have them

Needed extras mate, got originals from the club, but not enough....They had ordered before I joined and sorted me out with the spares they will get.

Had to go directly to rpra for the extras, and they only had combi's left So half combi half originals on my birds.

ah i see, its not right that the rpra only have combi rings left though......its common knowleage that only a small % of rpra members use ets compared to the clcok method......they should have taken this into acount but then again thats typical of the rpra isnt it

Have they even approved the ets chip that fits the ring yet? Dont think they did last year did they?

There seems to be a guy selling non-ets rings here on ebay

havent got our rings yet think its the 9th we get ours but dont want that english rings bad reports last year about them

had mine turn up in the post from rpra today sent my racing rings but not my show racer rings ?? but wont need the show racer rings yet plenty of time.

I see Chris You are right, the Combis are perfectly fine to use...Dont think there will be any problems with eggs being cracked by them myself.

As you may have seen I have combi's coming, so if yours are here already mine should come soon thats why I wondered... Only seen people with combi's since the 24th....haven't seen anyone with the originals delivered yet. Wonder if they send them out a bit later?

my other 15 of originals will come from the club.

alex, ive seen originals which have been received by rpra members.......but it is a cheek the rpra have run out of originals.

Ah, my theory was wrong.... Did think it was weird that they didn't issue them as early but obviously they did.

yes alex ive seen some originals which have been sent out........its our club meeting this sunday so i`ll be asking whats happening about the rings, im pairing up in approx 4 weeks

or maybe less if the weather fines up a bit

Similar time for me too, sometime around the beginning of feb. I think the rings through the club will be given out at the club meeting, I'm not in any hurry though for the rings Just nice to be organised and have them ready
