did lose a few, one old hen only filled one, another pair of yearlings only filled one and a hen in the race loft kept going in the next box along and fighting resulting in both lots of eggs not hatching |

could be..................i know the old hen only filled one in her first nest last year? Main thing for me is the parents to the NFC winner are back together this year, both "02" pigeons and first round hatched and they now laid up again |

| what about putting the first eggs laid from 2 pairs together then the second 2 eggs laid together and see if you get 2 cocks and 2 hens ie first 2 may be cocks or hens just to test it |

be the perfect way to test it..........you would want two severly different pairs ie 2 reds together and say 2 blues together at least then you would still know who the parents were Ours are all Blues, Cheqs with the odd WF |
