| I 30 eggs at the moment one no good 29 ready to hatch but some will be sorted befor they hatch |

| ah right, i was wanting to do this but because im waiting to pair in feb it doesnt leave me much options but to get just one round off each really....... |

| leaving them till feb this year david i dont see the point of pairing up ealry my second round youngsters was geting better results than the first rounders and they were all off the same pairs |

David if you do what Ian and a lot more do you can get 2 rounds out of the stock birds and the youngsters will only be about 20 days different in age |

| just that i would need to float the stock eggs under racers which themselves will only be rearing one round, and i could do with testing their own young really. |

| Stock paired up few probs with some of the new stock i got in were late breds so not to fresh, Got first eggs yesterday so all systems go phil |

| was going ok till i lost 5 show racers off the loft today, god knows were there gone who needs to cull, just let them out! not been out since november and all they did was walk the garden , give em a nest pan and they learn to fly |

| Snap same with the loft here cant put it up till it arrives though going to put mine on a flat roof I'll have to invest in some ladders too ! |

did think of putting my new one on the garage roof too, but decided the wind might be too strong where i am as it seems to be a bit of a wind tunnel round the side of my house........ would have liked it up there though. |

| just read on other topic about your hens pairing together,,,,,,,,dont want to temp fate but you will end up in nightmare position of having hens lay or at least eggy when you do pair and load of clear eggs
or even hens not interested in the cocks |

| two of the hens will be spare but the other will be paired up............if i put this one in with the 2020 hens for a week will this stop the eggs being infertile...? |
