pictures of our lofts

wish mine was like rays and ians, would fill it with pigeons...........

but do they have the right pigeons

i have to say when i look or go to any loft the first thing i look at is the floor outside it as this says alot about whats going on inside even before you enter,and have to say ian yours is immaculate

this is one thing which needs sorting outside any loft darren, you cant be paddling through mud every day and trailing it into the loft can you.........

no david you cant anthropods carry salmonella amongst other things i put on a different pair of daps when i enter the loft

yes we do quality as well alex,the reason i have so many is the top flyers hare in south shields race about 60 to 75 birds aweek i would think so i rac nearly 40 if i can that is just to have a 2to 1 chance against them, remember these are at the very top o fthe tree...most of mine are just experimental birds that maybe i have just got in to see if they are better than mine///if you can get one family to race for you thats great but it takes time as we all know to find these...its right what david says most are well not not but not as good but you do,nt know that untill you try them

just because you have a big set up dosent mean you dont focus on quality ,if we were honest we would all love a 100ft loft if we could but for some its not practical thats all

got a it lost with this topic, but remember mark brown when he won the national? i think he sent 4 pigeons while others where sending 20...........

Didnt say you could have alot and not focus on quality too.


What I was getting at was it just takes that one, and on the day it could be someone who has sent 50 and someone who has sent 10, and the person with the 10 birds wins.

You prove it yourself Ray, they send 70 and you send 40 and you still get good results, same for Ian. Gets to the point of what I was saying, just because someone has that amount of birds doesn't mean they have the right ones on the day. I know you two have excellent birds, they prove it for both of you.

exactly david its meant to be about our lofts and what they look like

can we not move the loft pics onto a topic of there own then just keep adding new pics to it when members put there lofts on

Some wonderful looking lofts on here Just put a six by four on a flat roof and on two pallets high ! was a right sod trying to screw the roof down need bigger ladders ! gonna try posting a pic up here before the y.birds get in and christen it ;-)
