| once again i thought i would put the youngsters on the landing board with a cage,let them go in then put them back out without the cage.and you guessed it they feckin sit on the house roof until its too dark.trying to get in now but its almost pitch black outside.they will be hungry in the morning lol.does anyone have any other ideas.am i putting them out too early they are still squeekers. |

| the only way is through there bellys reduce there food and every time they come in there rewarded by food or a little seed they also love the taste of peanuts they will learn if they don,t come in or are late in don,t feed them don,t be soft on them you have to rule them not them rule you they will soon learn . |

| a cold and wet night on the roof should sort them.first time out so if they dont learn tonight then they will never learn. |

| are they hungry when you let them out geordiejen ? also do they know the sound of the tin rattling which they associate with food.....? |

| you must try and get ybs out as soon as possible when there not strong enough to get to the roof also i feed breed and wean for 2 weeks after they been weaned it seems to stop them taking off to soon before they have had a look about as its a heavy mix i feed once per day at 4 pm and darken at 6pm but let the ybs out at 2pm seems to work for me as they cant wait to get back in and i always whistle when i feed they know the score now already |

| i use red band in the trap and shake the tin as they start to come in they soon learnt that way that they get rewarded if they come in. if they are late they dont get it. |

| still got 2 birds sitting outside wasted most of the day yesterday and most of today so far.the joys of the youngins.i will try whistling when feeding from now on.they were put out yesterday not fed.put out around 3 |

| i open my y/b loft and let everything out, wot comes in is great what doesnt isnt worth worrying about. touch wood i havnt lost any so far this year. |
