Is this fastest race ever?

Hi Lads, tonight I just came from the club with todays results, 160 miles, My bird was doing 62 mph velosity 1815.21, I can hear you all say well done you must have won easily and came up in the fed, Well actually I was next to last... The winning bird ws doing 75 mph and a velocity of 2169.699, Can anyone top that.

a few years ago i can remember a merseyside fed race being won on 2200ypm

must be fed on speed lol well done though

Im surprised they can see where they are going at that speed, goggles for next week has been requested by the birds....

i remember back in the 90s i flew north road and i had a bird fly
lerwick in 8, 1/2 hrs can,t remember the vel but it 450 miles with a strong ne wind up its back side
came no where in the result

i won my first race from thurso 401 miles 6 hours 8 mins in a strong north north wind
second section 2oth open 15 mins behind the gold medle winner

Must admit this was a hell of a velocity, its said the fastest pembrokeshire has seen, The record was 1800 ypm for the same race point, but even I broke that record yesterday and I was next to last in the club. mad
