Cock or hen, how to determine it
If you don't know how to determine the sex of your pigeon, we give you a handy trick !

The young pigeons have to be three to four weeks old.
You lay the youngsters in your hand in balance while you hold the feet above the knees...
You softly pull the young pigeon on its beak If the tail goes up, its a hen if the tail goes down its a cock
( 99 to 100 % sure )

was told once , hold the bird on its back in your hand if it flips over and out, its a cock, if it lies there with its legs open and dont move its an hen, says a lot for the female species but never tried it. lol Very Happy

have heard something about the length of the toes, cant remember exactly what it was but something to do with the middle toes being longer its a cock and the same length its a hen..........

i turned a hen upside down looking at her last week, and it did stay still laying in my hand
