had the bath out for the stock birds today, used warmish water for them and they loved it...........all loose feathers came out easily and they are looking pretty nice and tight considering they are still moulting......

what importance do members place on regular bathseither for stock birds or racers ?

can i ask why you use the vinegar in the water...new to keeping pigeons,so any info i will gladly take on board.
when keeping smaller birds,i would have added TCP,to there bath water,to help keep of the red mite,or maybe 3 times a yr put moxidectin in the water.
just curious as to what purpose vinegar is for.

hi birdlady, ive never done it to be honest, but i cant see it doing any harm to fancy birds, the reason i say fancy birds is because if you were to offer it to racers every day it would harm them for racing as they need oils in the feathers to keep out the rain when racing home.........or maybe someone else can give you a better answer.? Very Happy
