black magic.......

anyone used black magic......been told its the same as the original aviform containing cane molasses, i used to use the original aviform but have noticed its different now to what it used to be....any thoughts anyone please /

Hi david, I used to use aviform years ago, but dont think much of it...I have been giving my birds just corn with garlic oil added and plain water for 2 months now and they never looked better, I think the more products you give them the worse things get. If you must give them an energy product use honey.

Rudderfet your comments are spot on and were garlic is used it is one of the best natural products to use

Honey in my eyes is a must for energy and high suger levels

how would you give honey into the water don?warm water and straight into the drinker?thanks

Place two tablespoons of honey in the water fountain, get luke warm water place some over the honey,mix until the honey has disolved in the water then fill the water fountain up with normal water

is this a magic potion

A BIG SORRY did forget to say with the honey add lemon juice and you will see how the pigeon recover from a race

Don you can also add a teaspoon of cider vinigar with that

interesting don might just try it

Ian i would use it, it's cheap natural and god for you and the pigeons

Ian only used it when the pigeons returned from a race and they recoved well, stopped using it for a few years and went back to it and i could see a difference with the pigeons the next day

It worked for me hope it works for you

don, could you still use honey now during the closed season ? or would it be better when racing......

You can use it in the closed season but they don't need the high sugar levels need for race recovery

But try it don't think it will harm the birds

going to buy some of that black magic next time i go to crowthers, seems its just like the original aviform and we seemed tyo do well when we used it before.......looked at the aviform they have now and it seems totally different than before....

Never heard of it so would like to know how you get on with it when you have used it
