strong winds across the uk

they saying we going to have a very strong wind across the country in the next 24hrs a weather worning as been put out for a 80 mile phr wind. its started here raining with it. hope you all battened down i was out there earler today makeing sure all was battened down nice and strong

its was not so bad last night after all tonight is worse

poor day today wind rain looks like another day in the loft for pigeons

same here john, fine but windy here today.....gave them a quick scrape out this morning and fed them but ill wait while the weekend to let them get a bath.

yes same here david went out this morning scapped them out changed water and fed then shut the door at 1 oclock to much wind blowing in with the door open today

yes, has been for the last couple of nights ken......been a bit of a nip in the air too at night so you know the next thing well have dont you ?......frost !!!!! and water freezing up.....

hi david yes give it another week or so and the water funtanes will be froshen stiff for sure really cold today but no frost so not bad yet

Hi John and David the good think about sharp frost is,it kills all the bad bugs, you can still get the birds out, so a few frozen drinkers is worth putting up with

i put my nest bowls out all winter so the frost kills anything on them dont know if it does but was told to do this off an old fancier

Ian yes i was told this, but to spray them with disinfectant first
