morning all

I have four now with black marks, 3 have redeemed themselves up to now, being younguns I do tend to give them a bit of leniency.
Sunny but cloudy here at the mo.
Some of mine have started to moult now David, they have started throwing flights and a few have started on the body.

mine is just looking noticable, you can see on the sides of the wing and the top of the head.........ive also noticed that every year when on the dark the feathers on the chest start to go bitty and sticking out sort of thing, this must be when they start to moult ???

It's a bit different on light birds, these just quickly moult through on the body and seem to change colour rapidly, being later breds I won't have to start pulling tail feathers I hope.

drizzling a bit here now, going over the loft soon to see if im letting ybs out for a while............. i know they will love the rain but i have to stand guarding them getting soaked........

lol thanks lads no hes in the spare nest box g next to the clock lol would exspect a good one about 12.30 70 miles in a tail wind but would be just glad to get um to be honest for their first race

Sunny and clear blue skies here, but still windy.

weather in Guernsey is south south east force 6 to 8 heavy showers prolonged at times

lovely day here in sunny leeds, sun shining, clear blue skies but a slight breeze..........cant grumble.

overcast but dry at the mo had another pigeon back this morning at 8.45 totaly flown out and a knock to the wing nothing serious though poor bugger is shattered will take a bit of time to get rite again but just glad to see the bird back

good news darren, glad another one has got back home.......how many is that now?

i got 4 from 5 david the one away broke his keel last year on the last toss b4 racing as a yb hope he turns in but this one i dont exspect i will see to be honest but ya never know
