dad was in hospital

hi all just a little run down my dad who few may no as don wilkinson from dudley he had bowl cancer just before xmas he had his op all is going well he just had the results all seems fine i no ray was asking after him he is doing well been down to allotment a few times to see birds ,i was helping him and my brother out to do there birds and my own but on sunday i was ice skating with the family for my daughters birthday and ended up in hospital my self now leg in a cast after surgery to put plate and wires in ankle and leg so much for helping them two out now my bother is doing it all to say im p***d off is a understatement now im off work for min of 6 weeks just when im parting young birds form stock and ringing racers and i dont get sick pay

Wait until your 76 y/o.
Then you can REALLY get pissed about things you can no longer do.
It takes me ALL NIGHT just to do things I used to do ALL NIGHT.

just because your 18 or 80 does,nt mean you ca,nt get pissed of with things don.we all have our own problems in life but its ne easier being younger.i think your being a bit hard myself ansd i have to point this out.
anyway glen i hope you and your dad are ok and things get better fr you both,tell you dad we are all thinking of him and hope he gets well soon ,and the same applies to you...keep us informed about his progreess

hang on a minute don im pissed off with not been able to help my sick dad and brother who has bad authritus i could not give a shit about me im more annoyed at not been there for them two so dont tell me to grow up i for one like to look after my family

Glen--it was not about takeing care of your family.
So I Apologize for my post.
It was ment to tell you --Your not a teenager anymore.
You were trying to show them how much of a better skater you were -than they were.
That you had forgot more moves than they will learn.

Upset-Yes
I can only walk about 1/2 block--have to stop and rest
I have to do my breathing machine 2-3 times a DAY.
I'm 76 Y/O----I have the know HOW---I have the want too.
But my health stops me. I know several people that are WORSE-OFF than I am.
So I guess I'm not doing too BAD.
