| i think he was trying to generate an interest in a fight for himself to be honest, chisora in my opinion took it to another level by coming off the podium and taking his coat off..........he walked up to haye therfor leaving him no choice but to have a go at him to save face, personally i dont like chisora especially when you consider he slapped klitchco across the face before the fight, and also spat in his face...........
hes a thourouly obnoxious man by what ive seen of him............ |

| Marvin Haglar was the best there was he was my idiol when i boxed myself, there was never no show boating just lock himself away and get the hard work in the gym done and produce the goods on fight night
Sugar Ray Lenard never beat him but there was loads of money envolved plus Hagler was never the one to show boat and play up to the crowd like Sugar Ray did and the rest of them
Haglar was a true fighter and a true gent also he even kept pigeons but not racers, rollers i think
Only a few weeks ago one of the brothers who trained and managed him passed away.
Bring the greats back like Haglar, Duran, Hearns, Sugar Ray the 80's was the best time in boxing for middleweights plus a young Mike Tyson at the begining of the 90's the new Heavyweight sensation and his trainer Cus A'damata what a trainer he was with Teddy Atlas |

| your talking my sort of language now don, the fighters of today can not be compared to the fighters of the 0s and 90s, your right its all about money now.......one man who i think was greatly over hyped and as gone on to milk the boxing system is bernard hopkins, ive never seen such a boring untallented fighter get so much praise for being good...... pretty unbelievable really. i remember one of the best fights i saw hagler in, and it was against an unbeaten john "the beast" mugabi, 30 fights, 30 wins and 30 by ko.........what a powerful man he was, i remember watching the fight and it was punch for punch until the last round when hagler knocked him out........all this when hagler was past his best too. |

Yes i can remember that fight myself David, can still remember Micky Duff saying "come on John last round you always said one last round in the gym come on" John was an animal my good old freind and former sparring partner 1987 British Light-Heavy Weight champion Tony Wilson of Wolverhampton trained with him and said he was an animal taining and in the ring But them were the days, and yes he is a complete waste of time Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins yes he stayed in the middleweight division when he lost to Roy Jones because no one in that weight could beat him but as soon as Roy was past his best he moved up a weight and tried to make it good until Joe Calzage showed him the way But he is just full of himself but you can not knock him for his age and condition he is in credit were it is due mate |
