Morning all

Good morning all from a not so sunny southport, weather a bit fresh overcast, but dry. had the younguns out this morning for half an hour, all back in the loft now with no more fly aways.

morning gary, did the one come back from yesterday...?

havnt had mine out today yet as its raining here, will wait till it stops later then get them out for a spin round.........

No mate, I think it's long gone.
The others have been fine, scooting around the garden onto the roof and stuff, but came down when called all trapped within a couple of minutes so can't complain at this stage.

rain seems to be easing off here, might go over and let them out soon.......i still keep looking for the red i lost a week ago expecting it to come back...........

There's always one mate, I remember a few years back I had a yb go off the loft and it got reported in Belgium, it must have flown like the clappers.
I half expected that blue one being on the loft this morning, but hey I got plenty more

still time for it to come home gary, you never know eh............

very overcast and constant rain here in the west,went out to the loft this morning at first lite to see the mealy yb that spent the nite out racing the skies flying over the loft on numerous occassions and landing on the houses opposite ,cant understand why he wont come down as i let the obs out too i guess he's not got alot between the ears.a big black mark against this bird

nice here today so far bet that changes come 6pm when the hit squad go out nowt new there hope ya getting ya missing birds back lads it really pisses me off when they go from the loft weeks of work just gone
ah well have to plod on dont we ffs we must be nuts

all aircraft have returned safely, 7 went off for half hour (ish) all trapped when called so happy so far.........been iving 10 ybs 9 oz a day between them so i have control over them for now, once all are up flying i will up this to 10 oz......

am i being to tight with giving 9 oz...?


p.s. has something spooked the mealy darren...?

dont realy know david all i know is he been all around the neighbours roof tops and just keeps taking flight he heard me calling him i could see the birds reaction ... i think the birds just disorientated by the looks of it ....ah well some just dont have it do they

No doubt it will be back mate, I've had em like that in the past.
Some have actually turned out good birds believe it or not.
But it's just frustrating when your standing there calling it looking like a complete plonker

he`ll be back darren, obviously he knows where he belongs but just aprehensive over landing for some reason........

daz forgot to mention he has tin in one hand gun in the other ffs you be apprehensive wouldnt ya

well if he stays out another nite then thats it for him ,just had other ybs out all went up and all back in safe but the mealy never came down to the loft i can only think hes been realy spooked by something

Just had mine out again tonight for half an hour, two minutes to get them all back in. I'm well impressed

i think ya will find he has been spooked by hawk daz and you aint seen it happen or it could have had a bump give it a chance it may just be hes nervouse

just been back out to the garden and he was on the landing board looking to go in the loft ...opened trap and he was in like flynn

i hate to lose the babies off the loft
