theres a peregrine on the office roof next to my wifes work, the RSPB wanted to stop it being knocked down incase they were breeding on there, my wife said the RSPB inspectors said when they were coming so they sent maintenance men up onto the roof to clear it off, they start knocking it down soon as inspectoers could find no sign of nesting.

that bloke is a total tosser, they dont take song birds ??? so where the hell have they songbirds gone ? we need to send the fella the pigeon rings they find by peregrine nests, so what does this fella think will happen when the hawks eat their way through the local bird population, introducing preditors into city centres etc will back fire on them when they can no longer see pied wagtails, blue t**s etc, sometimes you can make a bigger mistake by helping

We have watched the Nottingham university bring, Starlings, Blackbirds, Sparrows, Racing pigeons, Collared Doves. Ive never seen them bring a Sparrowhawk or a Kestrel, I don't even think the Kestrel poses a threat at all. The guy was talking out of his backside.

i notice the national trust mouth piece had a lot more air time to spout his propaganda than the pigeon fancier did, i also noticed he tripped himself up when he was saying 3 out of the 4 chicks at nottingham university had died due to bad weather, he then went on to say this was widespread accross the uk but even still, this wouldnt have a detrimendal effect on the population............sounds like they arnt in any danger of extinction to me

Bang on mate, they aren't in endangered any more. It's just rubbish he was spouting off. He he was the best they could come up with, then we don't have anything to worry about.
