    Very Happy Hi guys, Im in need of a little guidence please, I have decided to vaccinate all my birds and youngsters this year against Paratyphiod. i bought it online fromdr van den sluis pharma. Now I have never done it before but Im told its the same as the paramixo in the neck, the vaccine must be kept in the fridge so its cold do you warm up before giving it? any advice very welcome please, as Im a bit nervous about giving things first time..thanks

    Didnt it come with instructions? and when are you planning on vacinateing?As it should be done before pairing up.
    i would take vaccine out of fridge about 1 hour before injecting the birds.

    be very careful with paratyphoid vaccine as it can/will cause infertility. it should only be done 6 weeks prior to pairing

    to be truthful, I would just do the babies, its hard what to tell you, they are your birds at the end of the day, and their is as much debate on this subject as ETS,

    Very Happy Yes I saw the B.H.W it was very interesting, others must be asking the same questions as me thats why there was 2 different articles in one week on the subject. They are all saying the same thing Vaccinate, so I will be. Thanks for the help Very Happy

    I hope you wont do it before breeding, as they need at least 6-8 weeks before you pair up.
