well saw my first robin redbreast today in garden

well saw first robin bobbin about the garden this mornin is this a sign of a early winter on way maybe in for a rough winter this yr seemms early for them to be about ?

Have had them in the garden for the past 2 weeks must say the berries on the holly are already out and the earlier they show the colder the winter is going to be as the old wife tails go

dont remember seeing a robin for a year or so here....they were always around at one time...........

dont see much of anything in the garden these days apart from the sparr hawk and now getting frequent visits from the peregine hovering over the lofts daily ,so birds will be kept in until febuary now the peregine can see the birds through the mesh doors and maybe he just might get a shock one day

hopefully he will darren.....

decided to put some electric cattle fencing around the top of lofts and around the back for a deterrent for any unwelcome visitors ....never know may get a free fry up
