but the easiest option is to publish a list and randomly take samples at marking night

It aint rocket science.
But if you can only win using um, then why bother.
Using these substances is not without risk, it does have side effects on pigeons.
Liver damage, sudden death, lack of fertility.
Yes I would agree with you Don, but a lot of the top fanciers are part of the old school tie brigade and like it has always been different rules mate.

good statement gaz ....how can you feel good about a pigeon thats been doped to win a race ,some sad fu***rs out their that have no respect for the birds or pigeon racing ..i take great pride in the health of my birds and may they live a long life i have decided myself to use nothing in the water or on the corn apart from cider vin and herbs and no not the wicked weed and a pellet g10 by gem and thats it for me and they look well on it.

Your right Daz and you know my angle on this.
But whenever there is money involved and I mean huge amounts at risk.
Then there is much dishonesty.
What does make my blood boil, is when the bigger, more successful fanciers place objections and appeals for drug testing when they get beat by the less accomplished fanciers.
Because if they think they can only get beat by pigeons which have had performance enhancing stimulants, then maybe we should be testing their pigeons.
Bet it would be a different tale.
But us little men are insignificant and our voice is not never heard and our views seem unimportant.

Don't hold ya breath George, Terry must be frantic with worry and doesn't need the added stress of this at his age.
At least he has some good support from other fanciers.
Fingers crossed George, it would be nice to hear some good positive news for a change.

i think the RPRA need to also take a look at them selves if they suspend this member, if they had made the list of banned substances public, or didnt accept adverts for these products in the BHW, then maybe it wouldnt have come to this.......

I agree David, maybe they should do a full page in the BHW at the beginning of each season, just to clarify any confusion.

Terry has received a letter from the RPRA today telling him his apppeal is to be heard in Wales a 4-5 Hr drive for him george

wales ? seems they are making things as akward os possible for him, if it was me it tell them to stick it up their a**es, i wouldnt drive for 5 hours for an apeal he still might loose...........

I think it's been a farce from the beginning.
I also think this has done much harm to the RPRA, they will have to do something spectacular to pull themselves out of this shit.
