| Hi Guys this is the link to a small sale of birds that flew the whole program in the Somerset One loft race in 2012 from an original feild of 1000 birds . They are Portuguese rung and were bred from stock held in Blackpool by my friend Ken Cardwell for me in the name of Mistral Marauders Ken races in the West coast Fed and wins out of turn . The birds are Staf Van Reets/ You can check out the results of the Hotspot races and Training on the site. here is the auction http://www.mysoft.co.uk/somerset/index.phpHere is the website http://www.somersetoneloftrace.co.uk/These birds 2 cocks and 2 hens are bred from the very best Ken has in his stock loft and these stock birds produce a high percentage of good breeders that produce winners after the birds have been vetted like this. |

Hi Rainbow, the pedigrees are on the sale webpage, they are pedigrees that Ken has written out from the performance birds in his stock loft. They are from the Europa Classic Acebird winning line as he has the parents and bred the winner there. These birds flew the whole training and race card really well 001 was 7th acebird and 006 was 27th ace bird. 550 birds went to Ypres in Belgium 265 miles for the final but only 28 made it on the day. These are my 4 returnees that came next day. It seems that the birds got split before they hit the water. in the end around 230 birds made it back. They are for auction as I cannot bring them to Portugal and Ken doesnt want any more prisoner stock. they are bred from the best he has and will hopefully produce the goods at stud for someone else. |

| Thanks for the positive comments on the birds, Terry Williams in Somerset has the birds and he has brought them through the moult in great condition. We are not out to get rich selling the birds, I want them to go to anothet loft or lofts and breed the goods for whoever buys them. The birds race details are all on the Somerset website all hotspots and training records are there.
The pedigrees are listed on the Auction site too, they are performance pedigrees as Ken has a family of Staf Van Reet birds based around his Golden Pair that churn out winners and winners that breed winners, including the Acebird in Europa Classic a few years back. They may even go for the 1st bid as I do not know how much traffic the Somerset site has, but thats ok if they do. Time will tell. |

| Lol, thanks David I just want them to do well at stock for whoever buys them, all 4 birds are bred from fantastic performance birds who breed winners that breed winners and these birds have proven they race wellabove normal. The parents of these birds have what my friend in Florida "Myron Kulik" says are Super Breeder eyes especially the mother of the loft that bred the Europa car winner and Acebird a few years back I sent him the eyepics of the parents to analyze for me before we entered the birds in the race. That on top of the parent birds previous results in racing and breeding was why I was very bullish about how the birds in the Somerset race would perform. |
