Had fancied going to this one and left the show but got as far as Wetherspoons, never heard anyone mention the sale either but I thought his birds looked well in the BHW.

What a weekend, although the show was a lot a smaller than usual, the atmosphere was great.
Yesterday we almost sold out birds and had to bring up a whole new batch today which also almost sold out again.Had a visit from the guys off the forum, Tony a star, Graham, Ray, Rene and Colin, Van reet man, Essex steve, Jon, Don, Fletch, Rick my apologies If I missed anyone out.
Thanks guys it was great to meet you all and glad to see you all had a good time.
Kev even got his photo taken by a photographer from the Irish Gazette, to accompany a report about our friend Dermot's big win in the gold ring race against over 3000 birds, the reporter asked Kev what it felt like to have bred the birds that have won this race twice in three years, we didn't know about the other win two years ago until today. lol
Good feedback though, makes it all worth while.
Had plenty of other results too.
Thanks guys for taking time to visit us. cheers

Cheers Darren, It's given us a much needed boost, knowing that the old established family can still do the business over harsh terrain.
But more importantly, our customers are happy and have the confidence in our birds.
The rest of the reports we had are also uplifting especially for Kev at this moment in time.

Thanks guys, Kev is on the up now although he is still in a lot of pain.
But the weekend was a great booster for him.
It has certainly given us some direction and and a few more things in the pipeline.
So maybe doing a few more shows this year if things go to plan.

Visited the show for the first time this year, had a fantastic time although drunk both friday & sat nights.
Seen a few ov the lads for a quick chat, always nice.

Had a good chat to John Halstead and purchased an extremely nice stock cock.
Best thing about it, he phoned me again tonight and we had another good talk about possible help for building a team for the future.

Well happy Very Happy

Thanks m8,
Funny how things happen really, he told me a little story of how he had help from a fancier in Blackburn 40 years ago when he was starting and how it would be nice for him to help another novice fancier from Blackburn in return.

Its always nice when someone says give me a call next week just after you purchase something but they contact you straight away instead, it instills a lot of confidence in that person as they are few and far between

Id say he is underrated David.
But certainly not by his competitors.
He's an extremely intelligent bloke where it comes to pigeons and a nice bloke in person.
Although his voice in them videos could put you to sleep. pmsl
