just spoke to some mates at the show they saying no where near as busy as other years maybe the weather has put many off
i also was talking to Ray he got one of the hens he was after at that auction

i got a text message from someone this morning just before 9 o`clock saying they couldnt make blackpool today because of the snow, and that they would try again tomorrow.........it disapeared off my phone and ive no idea who sent it scratch

thing is pete you can get there and spend a few hours walking round etc, only to come out and find its thick of snow and your stranded in blackpool........ affraid

its not been too bad here sean, the side streets are white over and a bit slippy, but he main roads are ok really......ive no idea what the motorways are like but it could all change like you say

Well and truely pissed of just come of the phone talking to my freind who lives a few miles away from me and he said the motorways were all fine and the show is a little quiet but on the whole its o.k

Just wish i could have got the car of the drive and up the hill if that had happened then i would be in blackpool now scratch

sorry to here that don, round here its not that bad either, i supose a lot have taken too much notice of the weather men again telling us its going to be bad..........altho i prefer to be cautious really, its the last thing you want to be stuck in blackpool and not be able to get back home.

We went to the show today and the roads were clear and the show were busy we were talking to Gaz of here he said it had been busy we got our bits and bats for the coming season.

enjoyed the show not long got back
was smasshed friday night /saturday morning
went to show with hangover really enjoyed it met ray peel, rene and his brother and gaz to so enjoyed it
went in show for a few hours today and then a 2 hour drive home that was a good ride home

Just got back about 1pm, if i'd took notice of "the end of the world" forecast on thursday night I wouldnt have got. No probs with snow although plenty in fields etc the roads were totally clear. The authorities done a good job with gritting at last.
Show was crammed sat morning and Blackpool itself was really busy in all the main pubs and clubs. I honestly think it was busier than last year, maybe others disagree. Regardless, it was a hell of a turn out considering the weather and good publicity around blackpool on radio and TV about pigeon fanciers and the charity side of the show. Also one reporter said it boosted local economy by £11 million over the weekend!
Didnt get to see half of what I wanted the time flew by. The auctions I called in to see were well attended but not stupid prices although the top lots still made good money.
So already looking forward to the next one.

glad to see you both had a great time, and enjoyed the experience........i took too much notice of the forecast and decided it wasnt worth getting stranded in blackpool. Crying or Very sad

i never trust authorities pete, every time they open their mouths its a lie, but i did think with all the satalite tecnolagy the weather people have they wouldn`t make such a bo**acks of it it........
