| decided to separate the race team this morning, the birds have not gone as well as i had planned, as i dont want a load of y/birds, and i dont have a local club to fly in, i shall re-pair for the N.F.C. races, so these birds will definatly get a load of work till then, when the time comes i think this will motavate the birds for the job in hand ?, i still have 15 pair of stock birds which are doing o/k , so should be able to breed a few strong youngsters from them to fill any gaps for next year, as i do intend to cut my team down to size for next winter, so some birds will be for sale later on, plus about 8 sets of four petron nest boxes like new, by selling these should ensure i cut down ? . bye the way my loft is a converted out building, and faces north so you can imagine its like a fridge at the moment. onwards and upwards as they say. |
