ybs hatching out

my ybs are hatching out now.this is a bit late but i think they,ll be ok.whats your views on these later bred ybs

i didnt wean mine till april 20th last year ray mines hatched now so will be a month infront this year dont think it makes any diffo just 4 weeks more work

i dont really clas ybs chipping out now as being late ray, mine are due to start chipping tomorrow and all during the week. compared to those who pair up at christmas yes they are "later bred birds" but in my opinion they arnt late......JMO

ray if you get them on darkness they;ll compete as equals with youngings hatched at christmas long as they thet get trained up.
You'll be pushing it to get them away from parents in time for 1st race if these are off your racers though.

my ybs come off my stock barnie.i do,nt breed off my racers unless they have scored.i let some of my racers breed ybs but they are off my stock

like david says if they chipping out now then they aint late ...plenty time to go on dark and get through moult
