| decided to take advantage of this bad weather we are getting, put the race birds together yesterday,most have sorted themselfs out by today, i will give them a couple of weeks to settle down, then training will begin, weather permiting, i shall give both sexes 4 twelve mile tosses separatly, then into the race programme, first round i shall pot egg them, then second round should be well sitting / hatching /or very young birds, then into the national to see what they are made of, no dought they wont all make it home,but that is the name of the game.  |

The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
