| hi lads we are at dover old bird national this week end I asked brian what we are sending he said just hens taken aback because we have only timed one hen in all season the cocks have been coming well. have I mist something..lol. cheers terryp.. good luck for the week end where ever you are flying from.. |

Terry !!!!, there had to be a reason why he only sent hens etc "Ask him"  . For me !!!!! I would say he was just taking a punt & hoping for something out of the hens. For me !!!! I would have stuck with the cocks who have been in form, providing they were bred for that distance etc. Long gone are the days of saying hens are better than cocks at the distance or even sprint racing. Good pigeons are the go irrelevant of the sex.  |
