well disaster struck last nite feelin gutted today

well took yb trainin they were at 25 miles but had lots ov trainin and wen libbed lovely evenin then percy appeared from nowere bang and watched her go down with 1 but then as I getting bk on motorway cud see the yb goin crazy swingin bk and to and splittin up in groups so gt a bad feelin only to be rite 1st yb was 1 hr 15 then 3 together about 10 mins later and that's how they come till about 10 oclck last nite I only had 18 out ov the 43 by dark but had about another 14 or 15 already so lookin better think im about 10 still adrift but fink more will work bk this morn but not happy to say the least only gd side to it is they had about 20 odd trainin chucks god knows wat wud ov come bk if ide only just started them off ? ill keep you updated as day goes on .

sorry to hear this ste, i know you must be gutted.....hope they all find their way back home today.

hi im in preston nr blackpool m8 ye im hopin more will come bk today gt some real bonny yb still missin I know theres nowt wrong with the birds 3 hrs earlier did nearly same route and had the 43 drop together but I saw the bastard thing goin down with 1 fink its gnna get worse as we go on in the nxt couple ov yrs m8 I meself used to live on Anglesey and race there so was familiar with the attacks from percy but we gt used to as ude say but defo more workin inland fom coastal areas m8 but I guess its a thing were all gnna have to get used to cause were not getting any help from the unions .

my lad tossed 24 of our young ins at 09-10 roughly 20 mls as the bird flys  1 droped in about 13-00 and about 15mins after the other 23 droped in  funny game young ins hope yours have turned in Ste   sean

nomore bk still 11 adrift from last nite not seen a feather since about 10.30 to 11.00 this morn so not holdin any luck with them now comin as its bad weather here

i keep my chucks short ,no more then 10 miles now but lots of them
its the only way to keep the losses down . hope they work back for you .

cheers kev just had another 1 drop but its scatty as hell now the weather is breakin up but wont go in and wen I went nr the loft it shot ov again very much panicked

Sorry to hear this Ste we had our young birds out this morning been out 3,4 minuets when a pair of percys were in them the birds were all over the sky we have 1 missing hope you get the others back.

One crap toss one would have to say     I imagine you didn't sleep to well last night etc. Not one of the better sides of the sport I'm  , when you get hammered as you have unfortunately.

well had the remainder of my team 32 away tonite fetched them bk to 15 miles to give them a confidence boost tonite and tomorrow for 2 more trainin chucks was abit shaky didn't clear to well odd 1 or 2 was split but on a gd all bk but they looked abit edgey wen they came but its only wats expected tbo but as we say onwards and upwards so we will just plod on  

Ste i were reading on another forum yesterday there were loads of young birds from Liverpool and Runcorn lost whilst training yesterday some have a load missing it seems it must have been one of those days.

I had what we call one of those days. Took 38 training 2 miles from my house and 2 weeks later i only have 6 back:(
