caught in GB 13 s 54979

hows it going lads wondering if any of yous can help me i caught in this yb this morning, it has a rubber ring on it but no calling ring i was wondering do any of you know the number and what area it is from, im not sure who to contact im sure this bird is flying for some one in Ireland i doubt it made it across the water. it is pretty bad shape under it body is cut open like a hawk got a hold of it or it hit a wire. i have it in isolation now with food and water if anyone could help me locate the owner id appreciate it thanks in advance lads. ring number is GB 13s 54979

hi joe, well done for taking the injured bird in and trying to find the owner, ive looked on the rpra website but they dont seem to have the ring lists up any more........... 

maybe someone can advise.

Hi David I've emailed the Rpra just there they said it would take two working days for them to get in touch with me so ill wait and see, if anyone else has any information on the bird I'd appreciate it thanks for trying David..

they used to have the ring lists up on site joe, but either i cant find it, or they have took them off........im sure theres some way of finding out so maybe one of the other members can give some info for you.......

Ye I hope so David its a little cracker besides the injury it has I will nurse it back to health if I can it looks like a hawk got him or something it has a rubber on his foot so was obviously racing the weekend..

Hi David I found the ring list online just there it was a bird out of Donegal up north they were flying from mullingar I got in touch with the secretary just there so hopefully the owner will get in touch soon cheers for your help

hope you get it sorted soon mate, i picked one up in morecambe a week last sunday from a lady who wasnt a fancier who put it on here , so went and picked it up and rang rpra monday morning and was told his phonenumber ive had to ring him twice and he said id get back to you that was last thursday . im gonna ring rpra and make him pay for courier on monday hes only 40 mile south of me , just glad he didnt do it to the lady as doesnt look good to be honest

hi darren, your right, fanciers like this do the sport/hoby of pigeon racing no good, dont breed them or send them if your not prepared to take responsibility for them i say........report him to the rpra, then he will have to get his head out of his ar*e

Well I got in touch with the secretary and he said he will make sure I get a call he was a nice enough chap on the phone, I still haven't received a call early days yet tho if he dosent get in touch ill fix it up feed him up and see what shape he's in after that maybe I might give it a home we will see, I hope he gets in touch tho as i get a great buzz getting a bird back to its owner cheers lads..

Hi David the owner contacted me this evening he will be dropping down to me in Monday to collect his bird he was delighted to hear I had him so it will be back in its loft Monday,
