PostSubject: A big Bo Bo   A big Bo Bo EmptyMon Sep 02, 2013 9:32 am

I think Iv made a big boob in trying to get the long distance birds I have only bought in long distance birds, and I recone this is wrong I think I should be bringing in mid distance to put a bit of speed in to them I have thought mine where good all rounders and I supose they are, they go all round the island but dont seem to want to come back to it when they are sent to a race. I no Im not the only one that have lost birds this year. at one time if any was home I had one, I have been to 6 races this year won 3 of em and didnt get a bird home from the other 3 I would sooner be last and have my birds home so I can do some thing with them next time, but that is not happerning winning a race and getting the only bird home sounds good but if this happens a few times you havent got many birds left to fight another day, and things become difficult and very disheartning and is not good for pigeon raceing

Personally I would try getting hold of birds that will cross the water before I think of adding any speed, Fast birds that don't cross the water are the same as slow birds that wont cross the water, Wish is kind of a must as you live on a island.

no bad pigeons, only bad pigeon men, i would be looking at your system first, if you are happy with that, then look to getting better pigeons, (this is not meant to offend but only to help).cheers
