well thats me finished for the season

yes decided i,m not racing no more this year.we lost a lot of birds this week.i was,nt happy sending them in the first place as they were still tired off monday then they had a big jump to 175 miles.i think we are about 12 missing ,we still have a big team left but mostly hens.i feel sorry for those who have lost most of their team..its been a crap year and i never thought i would say this,but i,m pleased its over...good luck to those still racing

been bad all round ray think plenty want it over and done with me included

that's the first time mine been oot since Thursday they flew for 1 and hafk hrs they look great very tempted to send but no finished for year sean

Sorry to hear that Ray it really has been a bad season all round for anyone I've spoken to. Ireland flyers are having the same problem hopefully next year brings us a better season..

You know your pigeons Ray and they have earned there perch for this year at least ready for next year nice and fresh mate

hi ray , it was only a few weeks ago i read you saying you could not under stand why fanciers don,t send there birds to races , a lot of flyers have a season like that every year including me im down to 1 old bird left out of 14
and 7 yb left out of 20 but i culled 4 . i got 2 races left and ill be seding to both pigeons are ment to race not just sit in the loft costing money feeding them . you can,t win every race you have to take the rough with the smooth
don,t take it the wrong ray but thats pigeon racing for you . cheers old boy

Sorry to say with the Hawks and the 4G microwaves in the air it will be unlikely things will improve they may get worse. The weather has been mostly great for the birds in the UK this year too.
I hope I am wrong, time will tell.

yes kev i agree with you in some ways.it sickening losing birds ,maybe its because i have a big team i said that but what i meant was some blokes don,t race birds week in week out,whats the point in that,fair enough those losing birds every week yes i understand that,it was those people who don,t i was getting at
anyway it has been a very hard season and i am pleased its over because i,m not on the dark and i have no chance competing but if i where it would be a different story believe me

as off the racing this year ray it has been awfull with every heavy losses in old birds and ybs. I think your making a good choice stopping them, I havna even had 1 race yet, but they will all be going this week too perth 98 mile.?. 65 in total. atb stan
