nestmates ?

i'm breeding a pair off ybs for a 14 year old boy in his 1st year racing what i'm not sure is do I give him nestmates or 2 different nests he is sending me the rings george

probably best to give him one from each nest in my opinion George, he can test ybs from a choice of parents rather from just one pair......altho just because ybs are nestmates one might be a champion racer and the other may be ferret food.........

so it's luck off the draw as it will have his ring on them

Unless you look at the eyes George etc, other than that the choice is yours & he should be most grateful you have gone out of your way, to help him.

George the best thing would be one from each nest if they fly the YB Programme then both pigeons can be paired together as a pair rather then brother and sister pairing

thanks that's what i'll do another fancier has offered to pay the courier for him and think steve from SJ lofts has also offered to breed him a pair george
