can I please remind members that birds are to be with me between 1st and 15th march anyone else drops out so be it we will go with what we got ...a few members have more concerning matters other than pigeons at present but I will leave them in for as long as I can...some members are having birds bred by myself don, stormqueen, rich payne and knackered and possibly seanl ...ring numbers of home bred birds will be drawn from the hat ...I can video the draw if members wish

club meeting tomorrow night to decide which south route we would like to race...really hoping for a favourable vote in our federation to fly down the leg (devon & cornwall) if so then south we go think it stands a good chance of getting voted in this year

I don't see any problem for me Darren, it makes no difference whatsoever which route they fly.....at the end of the day its the thrill of members competing against each other, a race is a race wherever its from......

a lot of liberations in and around me so a lot of clashing ...the ybs need to think for themselves whichever route we take ...carentan can be a decidingly dodgey race for the ybs first time over the water ...nobody sends big teams over their

extra day in the basket and the channel to conquer for the first time is enough on a good weather day let alone adverse weather conditions ...will keep ya informed on the route

just got back from club meeting and our proposal to the fed for yb programme was Exeter 73 miles twice then yelverton 100 miles twice then comeback to Exeter for 5th race then 6th race yelverton 7th truro about 135 miles and last race sennan cove about 180 miles...a few clubs want this route so fingers crossed we get it ...a lot of members have left the north route so this is my preference for the test loft birds after tonight I am unsure if their will be any yb racing for the north route ...thing is I have to hedge my bets now as the north route fees are all paid up front £140 for the season ...whereby the south route is pay as you go ,so it really looks like the south route whatever race programme gets voted in
