one batch going north on the local training wagon and another being taken south by me with the mrs at the wheel and the wee fella sat on the pigeon crates for a bit of stability for the birds so a 80 mile round trip today ...last toss before first races on Saturday have a good day lads and lasses

1st toss for mine today. yrlgs and 2 year olds never raced. Cloudy. 60 f. 10 miles or so. Came ok. Double distance tomorrow and next one. Start May 8th.

last chuck for us thursday morning then in till basketing dont normaly train thursdays but aint having um out round loft incase poxy hawk comes soon go 15 miles

sent me northerners for a last toss today ....I promise they went 40 mile all homed well ( the birthday cock"won a race on my birthday as a yb) has been 1st last 3 tosses might just have a few quid on the pools I don't usually bother but he is coming well...Alfie says he wants to break open his piggy bank we are both revved up for Saturday had more time with the birds this year after the little taking up so much time the last 2 seasons they seem well but Saturday will tell the truth ...its all good fun anyway

both about 60 mile david a glorified training toss north are going to stratford on avon and south to the coast to seaton ...its gonna be east wind for my yearlings all distance hens going to seaton but they have to cope and its best they get used to it from a short distance as the English channel is un-predictable jmo lets hope I am right as a lot of guys wont send yearlings in east wind besides I was given these as ybs from a good friend a Dutchman and he gave them on the strength they get severely tested from the word go ...so I will honour that

gonna send me southerners to Lyndhurst with the combine for Saturday as weather on the coast from seaton looks grim ...beware lads racing from Portland and surrounding areas it don't look good
