if they are flying out i would feed twice a day myself, do they come straight in from exercise when you call them, do they seem hungry ? |

| gareth, its only my opinion but if you are going to feed twice a day after the morning fly i would give a third of the days corn to them, for example for 30 birds i would give 10 oz then the other 20 oz on evening......
could be wrong but this is more or less what i would do as you dont want to give too much in the morning.....then when training/racing starts they might need more corn for the extra exercise they are doing. |

| so will they only be exercised around loft once a day on the evening gareth....? if so i wouldnt think it would as if they are fed early enough in the morning the corn would have digested by evening i would emagine..... |

| i would say amount (in weight) depends on type of corn i dont race any more keep few coloured racers and show pigeons but i bought some corn last year no matter how much i gave them they were always hungry it just never filled them up when i mentioned it to a racing mate he said thats what gerry plus does well it just looked like a nice mix to me (small stuff for my fancy breeds) |
