I would not have any issues etc O/S. The hen would have what I term 2 crosses other than the Delbar side in her etc so well worth a punt Smile Smile. The youngsters will tell the tale if they click as such together & I would be more concerned about the next generation, if you wished to breed back to the main cock there. cheers

In breeding with sire x daughter or dam x son is ok, and not too bad compared to brother and sister which I would say never do. But the old janssens had best results with cousins and half brother sister matings.

It all depends on what your trying to achieve in my opinion. keeping a line or a good reason is one thing but they need to be very special to you to resort to it.

I have not subscribed myself Don, but i found this website, and to be honest, like any other members in our sport. Its good to find some information on all subjects, of the sport. Then we can become better advocates for our racing pigeons, There is nothing better than good Education, in all that we do to help promote our sport. A sport i know is in your blood, along with mine and others. The way forward for all, is to share information, in order to make the sport more enjoyable and competitive. I think over the years our sport as lost a lot of good members, maybe through a lack of not being able to compete, and enjoy, leaving them getting left behind, to disappear and become another sad loss to the sport. Just my thoughts.

Fair comment Rudd Smile Smile again Wink Wink Breeding, feeding or training etc I'm one of those type's Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes that would never crucify some one who tends to think out side of the box senaro. Better to do your own thing & even fail at times, than die wondering what may have been. Even at times ??? if one may appear to be taking the long road Smile Smile to Rome it all for the most part add's to ones experiences, I would like to suggest here. cheers
