at the end of the day whether you fly in a corridor, pudding club ,nfc, bbc etc... etc... it does not matter or the results what matters most is what you get out of pigeons in general......for me it keeps my sanity as I am housebound with the wifes illness a lot of the time and its a great outlet for me and the wee fella Smile yeah we like to do well but its not everything ...enjoy yer pigeons cheers

I know where you coming from darren .it's also a outlet for most if we are honest but I have to admit we are obsessed with winning as you know. We hate getting beat and like nothing better than to beat the top lads. We have always been the same in no matter what we do.we put a lot of time and money into our birds and we like to see rewards at the end of the day..But again we are all different and have different reason for doing what we do..my dad brought us up to never get beat and we done the same with our lads .it must be just the way we are...must admit I wish I had mine in the back garden like you do as it's half the battle being closer to the family...good luck. .

theres nothing nicer than having them in the garden at home, ive had pigeons on allotments when I first started and it was a ball ache.......now I have them at home and thankfully have the best of both worlds, they are out of the immediate garden and hidden away on adjoining land surrounded by trees, where I can go and be relaxed and be quiet without being disturbed, but within seconds of home if I`m needed... Very Happy Very Happy cheers

Couldn't agree more David Smile Smile "Worth gold" having them just outside the back door as such. Always surprized me that in this day & age of people being busy, busy busy bounce bounce we do not push the benefits of having them close by to the general public for enjoyment, too take the stress factor away from every day life that most lead etc. cheers

It has it good parts and bad parts being on allotments. In some cases you know your beat before going to the club cabin after the race if you see others get them before you .which takes the excitement part away but on the other hand it's nice to have others to talk to from time to time
