| are they the ones with wire over them so the birds cant walk in the food...? ive bought 7 of that type a while ago and they are a lot better than ordinary trays where they can walk on the corn...... |

| I got a couple of grey plastic ones, easy to wipe clean, plus I got 5 wood ones the same type......a lot better than just an open tray. |

| nothing really don, a couple of ends on and its good trough ...only thing is they can walk on the corn, which I don't like.......just prefer the wire topped ones. |

| The type Edgie is talking about, are the type I use. I think they call them 'Toast Rack' type (seems apt anyway). I have a some big ones and a couple of smaller ones. I also made a medium size one from the wire parts from a broken one. It is handy sometimes to have different sizes.
I also want to stop the birds walking on the food. Don's idea of using guttering is a good one, if you want to go for the cheap option. Personally I don't like that idea for the reasons stated above.
But hay! - horses for courses and all that.
