| Whether you like it or not David - ETS is the way for the future and has been almost the 'norm' for many years.
Also, don't you think you should at least try it before you damn it out of hand.
I was also sceptical about ETS at first, but I took the time to find out about it and what can go wrong, and in most cases, the problem has been Human, not technical!
You have to get with the time buddy.

| Like I said when it first came out I was totally against it and we didn't use on our ybs for a while .that was because of a few factors ie cost of rings ect ect..but it has turned me around and we could do without it |

| I have had one since day one and would not be without it, no way would I go back to rubbers ,and since my hands and legs have got worse it has been a god send to me , as for going wrong it probably can , BUT it is useualy human error . |

| im not condemning it out of hand phil, I think its an excellent thing...especially for fanciers who are a bit bad on the legs or disabled in some way, of course, its a leap forward in technology ......my own view is, for me, its too much messing around as I would have to alter all my traps to fit the pad, install electric over to my lofts, which are approx. 70ft away from the house.....and also figure out how to install the system and wires onto sliding doors where my traps are fitted, plus registering all the rings, and un registering all the rings each year into the system......plus the cost, if I raced a team of 30 ybs that another 40 quid or so extra.
so for the time being its the T3 for me....... |

| I don't think its as bad as you think david , there is no major alterations to be done to traps at all , as for power supply just buy a large extension cable on a reel , or use a car battery and a small solar panel cheap as chips ? , if you realy want one you will do something about it ? |
